PachaLab is focused on the design of analog habitats and mission environments, spaces and systems that emulate constraints of space exploration to support research, training, and iterative engineering development. The lab explores how humans, hardware, and operations fit together in realistic mission-like conditions.

Core focus areas:
  • Analog habitat design principles (layout, operations, constraints)
  • Systems integration for living/working environments in remote conditions
  • Mission scenarios and operational workflows (crew routines, logistics, safety)
  • Prototyping and validation through simulations and analog testing activities.
