Scientific English for Researchers

Mar 26, 2026 @ 6:00 pm - Mar 26, 2027 @ 7:30 pm

This virtual event is designed for students, researchers, and aspiring academics who want to improve their English for scientific and academic environments. The session will cover key language skills needed to communicate effectively in research contexts, including the use of scientific vocabulary, clarity in academic communication, and confidence when interacting with international peers. Participants will explore how English is used in real academic settings, from understanding and producing technical content to participating more actively in global research communities.

The session will be led by Wendy Sanchez, an Intinauta member and Physics student at the University of Leeds in England, who has presented aerospace research in India and Australia. Based on her academic and international experience, she will guide participants through practical aspects of basic and intermediate scientific English, research article writing, and presentations and networking. This event is ideal for anyone looking to prepare for conferences, improve academic writing, or build the communication skills needed to grow in international research spaces.
